Seattle dominated this one until the 4th quarter when they ran out of gas and answer. Testaverde, which means interception in Italian, engineered the comeback that culminated with an 11 yard TD pass to Leon Johnson on the final play of the game. Coach Andy Weinrib coached a brilliantly conservative game for the win. Seattle was able to move the ball at will for virtually 3 quarters, but their inability to score TD's and their ability to accept FG's were their undoing. Ricky Watters had a huge day (21-103) for the 'Hawks, but in the end he had nothing left in the tank and Seattle could not run the clock out.
Vinny Testaverde was able to lead the Jets on a fantastic 13 play drive that started on the Jet 7. In 4:07 seconds he was able to drive the team 95 yards and overcome a 6 point deficit for this fantastic road win.
